Jason Donahue, Chief Executive Officer

Jason DonahueJason Donahue has served as Chief Executive Officer of Acronis since September 2008. Jason joined Acronis from ClearApp, where he served as president and CEO until its acquisition by Oracle in September 2008. Prior to serving at ClearApp, Donahue served as a Vice President at IBM; CEO at Meiosys, Inc., a virtualization software company; CEO of Ejasent, also a virtualization software company; CEO of Apptix, a publicly-traded managed services automation company; and CEO of TeleComputing, a publicly-traded managed hosting company. Jason has also served in executive roles at Cap Gemini, Beechwood (now part of Cap Gemini), and Telesphere Solutions (a subsidiary of ADC Telecommunications), and served in various marketing roles previously. Jason earned a Masters of Engineering Management as well as a Bachelors of Engineering from Stanford University.

Anthony Folger, Chief Financial Officer

Anthony FolgerAnthony Folger has served as Chief Financial Officer of Acronis since October 2008 and prior to that as Acronis’ Corporate Controller since June 2006. As Chief Financial Officer, Anthony plays a leadership role in determining financial strategy by directing and overseeing all financial and fiscal management aspects of Acronis’ operations. Anthony joined Acronis from Starent Networks Corp (Nasdaq: STAR) and prior to that held senior management positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers, MarketMax (a retail planning and intelligence software company, now a division of SAS) and Deloitte. While at Deloitte, Anthony participated in the firm’s global development program living and working in Singapore to assist Asian based companies with U.S. filing and SEC reporting requirements. Anthony earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Accounting and Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Helmut Heptner, Chief Operating Officer

Helmut HeptnerHelmut Heptner has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Acronis since January 2009 and prior to that, he served as Managing Director of Acronis Germany GmbH as of March of 2006. Helmut joined Acronis in 2006 from PEZ Kommunikationssysteme Gmbh where he served as Managing Director & Majority Shareholder. Helmut has also held senior management roles in the PEZ group of companies in Russia and Germany. Helmut started his career in the IT-industry as a Development Engineer at the Technical University of Zittau where he earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and completed post-graduate studies at the Technical University of Zittau.

Ed Benack, Chief Information Officer/Chief Customer Officer

Ed BenackEd Benack has served as our Chief Information Officer and Chief Customer Officer since January 2008. Prior to joining Acronis, Ed was the Senior Vice President of the Customer Experience and Service for Monster Worldwide. Between 1996-2005, he served as Microsoft Corporation's General Manager of Customer Service for North America and Asia where he delivered award-winning service. He also held senior roles within Microsoft's Information Technology Group. Prior to that, he was a Staff Director of Engineering for NYNEX Corporation (now Verizon). Ed served as a US Army Officer including German Military and Government Liaison and anti-tank platoon leader. Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theoretical Mathematics & Political Science from Bucknell University and an MBA in Computer Information Systems from Hofstra University.

Alain Gentilhomme, Vice President of Product Development

Alain GentilhommeAlain has served as the Vice President of Product Development of Acronis since May 2007. Prior to joining Acronis, Alain spent 12 years with Microsoft Corporation. He initially started working on the adoption of Microsoft technologies in the developer community in Europe and then led a group of Architects for the Microsoft European Headquarters. In 2000 Alain transferred to Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, WA as a Director in the Visual Studio and .Net Framework group. Prior to leaving Microsoft, Alain was a Group Program Manager responsible for the Management technologies in Windows and specifically for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Alain grew up in Paris, France and holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master in Electrical Engineering. He then obtained a Ph.D in Artificial Intelligence applied to electrical engineering. After college, he worked for various companies in France on the use of Artificial Intelligence techniques in the telecommunication areas and, later on, moved on the design of Unix-based mission critical distributed software systems.

Dmitri Joukovski, Vice President of Product Management

Dmitri JoukovskiDmitri Joukovski has served as Vice President of Product Management of Acronis since January 2009. Dmitri joined Acronis from open source backup solutions provider Zmanda, where he served as Vice President of Product Management. Prior to Zmanda, he was in product management at EMC and Legato focusing on backup and recovery software. Dmitri holds a Master's degree in Physics from St. Petersburg University in Russia and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Max Lyadvinsky, Vice President of Engineering

Max LyadvinskyMaxim Lyadvinsky has served as the Vice President of Engineering since 2008 and has been the Director of Engineering with Acronis since 2001. Prior to joining Acronis he was a freelance software development consultant where he worked with companies such as Paragon Gmbh and Invincible Data Systems, Inc. Before that Maxim was a Windows NT Device Driver Lead Developer for Vested Development Inc., as a Senior Software Developer for Ancud Ltd., as a Software Developer for both Decima Ltd. and MIEE. Maxim graduated as an M.Sc in Computer Science with honors from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering.

Laurent Dedenis, Executive Vice President EMEA

Laurent DedenisLaurent Dedenis has been serving as Executive Vice President Acronis EMEA since November 2008. He first joined Acronis in December 2004 opening the Singapore office to develop the Asian markets. In 2006, he moved to Europe to establish the company in the Northern-Southern regions of Europe and since, has been responsible for all of Acronis’ international operations, including 13 offices, sales, marketing and product localization, across Asia and Europe. Under his direction these regions have become some of the fastest growing markets of Acronis worldwide. Laurent previously held the position of the General Manager of Microsoft Solomon Software Asia and several international top managerial positions in the former SWsoft, today Parallels group. Laurent holds a Ph.D. in International Business Administration from the International University of America in San Francisco and a Masters’ degree in Economics and Management from the University of Paris XI in Paris, France.

Bill Taylor-Mountford, General Manager of APAC / ANZ

Bill Taylor-MountfordBill Taylor-Mountford has served as the General Manager of Acronis ANZ since April 2007. Bill joined Acronis from Veritas (now part of Symantec), where he served as Regional Manager of Enterprise Sales. Prior to his time at Veritas, he served at Dell for 6 years in several executive roles, concluding his time there as General Manager. Before joining Dell, he served as a Sales Director at Cabletron, as a Regional Sales Manager at Memorex Storage and as an Assistant Treasurer at Chase Manhattan Bank. In addition to his experience in Australia, Bill has worked in London, New York, California, Singapore and Malaysia.

Ed Filippine, General Manager of the Americas

Ed FilippineEd Filippine joined our team in November 2009 and serves as our General Manager of the Americas. Ed joined Acronis from EMC, where he served as Vice President, Americas Inside Sales Division. He also served as a regional manager at WorldCom and the national director/sales & operations for Boston Telecommunications Co. At Acronis, Ed is responsible for overseeing sales in North and South America. Ed holds a Bachelors degree in Finance from St. Louis University.

Ismail Azeri, Vice President of Business and Corporate Development

Ismail AzeriIsmail ("Izzy") Azeri joined our team in July 2009 and serves as our Vice President of Business and Corporate Development. Izzy joined Acronis from VMware, where he led the Corporate Business Development team which was responsible for acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships. Prior to VMware, Izzy was at EMC in several roles within Corporate Development and Finance. At Acronis, Izzy is responsible for Corporate Partnerships, Acquisitions, our OEM business as well as playing an integral role in driving corporate strategy. Izzy holds a Bachelors degree in Finance from Bentley College where he graduated with honors in 3 years.

Tadashi Murakami, Managing Director & Representative Director Japan

Tadashi MurakamiTadashi Murakami has served as Managing Director & Representative Director of Acronis Japan Co., Ltd since September 2008. Tadashi joined Acronis from J-Trust where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to serving at J-Trust, he served as President and Representative Director for Agile Japan K.K (a company specializing in enterprise software solutions for Product Life Cycle Management, now part of Oracle). He also served as President and Representative Director at Ascential Japan K.K.(ETL and EAI enterprise solution software) until its acquisition by IBM. Prior to Ascential, he served as Country Manager and Representative Director at Interwoven Japan K.K. which specialized in web content management solutions and is now part of Autonomy. Prior to this, Tadashi was also with PTC as a Senior Regional Director and with SAS as a Sales Director.
